OVERT PRODUCT, 1. a bad one that will not be accepted or cannot be traded or exchanged and has more waste and liability connected with it than it has value. (HCOPL 7 Aug 76 II) 2. these are called so because they are not in actual fact useful products but something no one wants and are overt acts in themselves-such as inedible biscuits or a “repair” that is just further breakage. (HCOB 10 May 72)
