Yes — there is a war going on. But it isn't the one in Afghanistan. That's merely a 'skirmish' in the real war that has been raging since the dawn of history on this planet. And in that regard, 2001 also marked something else: It taught people of this world that you cannot bomb aberration out of existence, that the materialist answer is no answer at all, and that the only thing ultimately worth fighting for, is exactly what we have been fighting for: 'A civilization without insanity, without criminals and without war, where the able can prosper and where man is free to rise to greater heights.'
