Here the veil is still “closed.” Also represented: The “Golden Dawn,” the temple columns, and the “moon” above the “High Priestess.” Typically, a large stage prop replicating the “release” item would drop down at some point in the unveiling speech. On this page, the “Clearing Congress tapes” drop down.
Scientology site: DM in South Africa. The stage set is “ethnicized” for the appeal of the audience. The “columns” are now the long flags on either side of the altar. Note the yellow rose, which combines with the Scientology cross above the speaker.
