What was the “Temple of Solomon” in Aleister Crowley’s writings is evidently now being claimed as the new “Temple of Scientology.” DM’s stage sets are now typically designed around such temple columns. The speaker’s podium represents the altar.

High Priestess imagery from two well-known tarot decks:

High Priestess Rider deckHigh Priestess Thoth deck

The silver crown of the Priestess symbolizes the Moon, or the unconscious.1 This symbolism is represented in Miscavige’s stage set as the large globe embellished with Scientology’s snake and double triangle. The set implies also that Scientology lifts the veil of the unconscious and transports the looker beyond the unconscious into a “Golden Dawn,” or new era.
